Native REST API Integration

Most automation tools use scraped web-views to post to WordPress, which often break when your theme updates. PostCrab securely authenticates using official WordPress Application Passwords over the native REST API.

  • Support for Custom Slugs
  • Remote Tag and Category Assignment
  • Publish as Draft or Live

Deep Yoast SEO Support

Publishing content is useless if nobody can find it. PostCrab is one of the only automation platforms that hooks directly into the Yoast SEO plugin data structure.

When you compose a post, you can define the Focus Keyphrase, Custom SEO Title, and Meta Description right from the dashboard. When the article goes live, your SEO metadata is already locked in and ready to rank on Google.

How It Works

1

Connect via REST API

Generate an Application Password in your WordPress admin panel and securely save it in PostCrab. No clunky plugins required.

2

Compose & Metadata

Write your blog post in our editor. Add tags, select categories, and fill out the Yoast SEO fields right before you hit publish.

3

Publish & Rank

Your article is instantly pushed to your live site, fully formatted with metadata injected directly into your Yoast SEO plugin structure.

WordPress Integration FAQs

Do I need to install a PostCrab plugin?

No. PostCrab uses the official native WordPress REST API. This means zero bloated plugins slowing down your site.

Is Yoast SEO strictly required?

While we fully support sending Yoast SEO metadata (Focus Keyphrase, SEO Title, Meta Description), you can still publish standard blog posts without Yoast installed.

Can I publish as a Draft?

Yes. Our publisher gives you a toggle allowing you to push articles to your WordPress site either as a published post or a draft for final review.
